The art
From the earliest age, I have always been attracted to bright colors.
When exposed to the work of Mark Rothko, I became inspired by his use of color.. "You become that color, you become totally saturated with it as if it were music.” This quote by Rothko became the basis of my abstract art work with acrylics which launched my career in fine art, in San Fransisco, in the late 90’s.
Each piece I create incorporates a palette of colors that are passionate and vibrant with color vibrations to stimulate our spiritual side. In more recent years, my current work celebrates the simplicity and beauty of nature with mixed media canvases – photography on canvas with acrylic and sometimes the addition of oil pastels.
